How amazing is this?
A group of 35 incredible knitters from the Ripon Community Poppy Project spent a whopping 4,500 hours crafting a gigantic Christmas jumper (and a hat!) for none other than Goldie the Gritter! โ„๏ธ๐Ÿš›
Measuring an impressive 32ft by 28ft (thatโ€™s bigger than most living rooms!), this festive masterpiece used 1,130 balls of wool and took a whole year to complete.
The jumper was unveiled to local schoolchildren and is now spreading festive joy while “keeping Goldie warm” for the winter season.
Weโ€™re in awe of the dedication and creativity behind this project!
Would you ever take on a knitting challenge this big?
