How amazing is this?

A group of 35 incredible knitters from the Ripon Community Poppy Project spent a whopping 4,500 hours crafting a gigantic Christmas jumper (and a hat!) for none other than Goldie the Gritter!

Measuring an impressive 32ft by 28ft (that’s bigger than most living rooms!), this festive masterpiece used 1,130 balls of wool and took a whole year to complete.

The jumper was unveiled to local schoolchildren and is now spreading festive joy while “keeping Goldie warm” for the winter season.

We’re in awe of the dedication and creativity behind this project!
